(Moonachie, NJ)...Wurlitzer Jukebox Company and International Game Technology (IGT) announce the signing of a multi-year promotion agreement. The two companies have combined their talents to create a Wurlitzer Jukebox-themed slot machine and a game format that will award a Wurlitzer Model 1015 One More Time Compact Disc Jukebox to each jackpot winner.

On a handsomely decorated and neon-lighted revolving platform, nearly 15 feet above the floor, spins the most recognizable and admired jukebox design of all time. At the base of this carousel are six specially designed IGT slot machines, each one resembling the rotating color columns and floating bubbles of a real Wurlitzer. The casino patron wins the compact disc jukebox when each of the three reels stops and displays the Wurlitzer across the horizontal payline. The game will be offered in three popular IGT slot machine themes: Red, White, and Blue; Wild Star; and Double Red, White, and Blue.

According to IGT's Director of Marketing Services, Mick Roemer, "This is one of the most exciting slot themes we have ever introduced. At the October World Gaming Congress & Expo, where we officially rolled out the promotion, the response from our casino customers was outstanding. We took orders for a lot of carousels. Everbody we talked to also wanted one for their own family room, and why not...it's a Wurlitzer."

This classic Wurlitzer Model1015 Jukebox was introduced at the end of World War II and was immediately favored by all who played its music. It so reflects the free-spirited '40s and '50s that the US Post Office memorialized the Wurlitzer 1015 by unveiling a collectable First-Class Jukebox Stamp last March. In 1996, this model 1015 celebrates its 50th anniversary. When the gaming patron wins the real Wurlitzer jukebox, a bonus is included. The winner also receives a signed, authenticated Wurlitzer stamp poster and first day postmarked envelope, issued by the American Postmasters Society. Both collectable items are frameable. A local factory-trained Wurlitzer distributor will room-deliver and set up the CD jukebox for each winner.
